What to Pack

Before packing, be sure to check the weather forecast for Greenville.

Tuesday – Travel Day

• Arrival: Associates will arrive in Greenville after 4:00 PM.

• Attire: Casual attire.

Wednesday – Conference Kickoff

• Morning: Breakfast from 8:00–9:00 AM.

• General Sessions: Begin at 9:00 AM.

• Attire: Smart Casual (Jeans are acceptable but should be free of holes. No leggings, exercise wear, flip-flops, or non-Fogelman t-shirts except on designated days.)

• Evening: Offsite event (outdoors, with approximately ½ mile of walking).

  • Attire: Casual (jeans are acceptable).

  • Tip: Consider bringing an umbrella in case of rain.

Thursday – Full Conference Day & Awards Dinner

• General Sessions: Continue throughout the day.

• Attire: Smart Casual. Meeting rooms can be chilly, so bring a sweater or light jacket.

• Evening: Happy Hour & Awards Dinner.

  • Attire: Business or Cocktail attire.

Friday – Wrap-Up & Departure

• Morning: Breakfast & Acts of Kindness activity.

• Conference Concludes: 10:00 AM.

• Attire: Smart Casual.

Packing Reminders:

• The Wednesday night event includes walking, so comfortable shoes and rain gear (umbrella/poncho) are recommended.

• Conference rooms tend to be cold, so a sweater or light jacket is highly recommended.

• Leave extra space in your suitcase for any goodies or materials you’ll be taking home.

Travel & Transportation

• If I’m flying in, how do I get from the airport to the hotel?

  • Transportation will be provided. More details will be shared before arrival.

• If I’m driving, do I need to pay for parking?

  • Parking is a reimbursable expense, but you may need a credit card for access to the garage. Since it is a city-owned garage, charges cannot be billed to the hotel.

Accommodations & Special Requests

• Can I request my own hotel room?

  • Yes, depending on availability. You will need to cover half of the total nightly room rate, and payment must be made 30 days before the conference. Otherwise, a double room will be assigned.

• What if I have special hotel room requests?

  • Please list any requests on the registration page.

• Can I bring family members?

  • No, this is a professional conference. All meetings, meals, and events are exclusively for Fogelman associates.

Meals & Expenses

• What if I have dietary restrictions?

  • You can note any food allergies or special dietary needs on the registration page.

• Will I need to bring extra money?

  • While most expenses are covered, you may have incidental costs during travel or personal free time. Refer to the travel policy for reimbursable expenses. Note: Nothing should be charged to your hotel room (including food, alcohol, or movies). Any unauthorized charges will be billed back to you.

Conference Activities & Logistics

• Will we have free time?

  • There will be breaks throughout the day and free time after evening events. However, attendance at all sessions and evening events is mandatory.

• Will there be a lot of walking?

  • Most sessions are on the same floor, and the hotel is easy to navigate. The only significant walking is to the Wednesday evening event (approximately ½ mile).

• Does the hotel serve Coca-Cola products?

  • Yes, they do!
